Serena Perrone American, b. 1979

Serena Perrone holds an MFA in Printmaking from the Rhode Island School of Design (2006). Recent solo exhibitions include SPRING/BREAK Art Show in New York, the Contemporary Art Museum St. Louis and the Print Center in Philadelphia. Perrone has exhibited her work in a number of prestigious group shows including The Print Center, Philadelphia, PA; The International Print Center New York;  The Cleveland Museum of Art, Cleveland, OH; and the Detroit Institute of Arts, Detroit, MI.  

 

A dual-citizen, she resides between the United States and Italy, where she maintains her primary studio practice and  is the Founder and Director of Officina Stamperia del Notaio, an international artists' residency program in Sicily. Serena Perrone's work is represented in the collections of The Metropolitan Museum of Art, NY; The New York Public Library, NY; The Cleveland Museum of Art, OH; the Detroit Institute of Arts, MI; the Library of Congress, Washington, DC;  Philadelphia Museum of Art, PA; RISD Museum, RI; Smith College Museum of Art, MA; and the Whitney Museum of American Art, NY; among others.
