Serena Perrone was recently awarded one of three solo exhibitions at The Print Center in Philadelphia in conjunction with the 91st Annual International Competition. The other winners were Yoonmi Nam and TR Ericsson. Jurors for the prestigious competition were Kelly Baum, curator of contemporary art at the Metropolitan Museum of Art, and Jennifer Farrell, the Met's associate curator of drawings and prints. The Print Center show was reviewed by Edith Newhall in The Philadelphia Inquirer.
Serena Perrone's new work Fata Morgana/Mondo Nuovo was also selected for this summer's exhibition Just Under 100: New Prints 2017/Summer at The International Print Center New York, selected by juror Katherine Bradford. This show is on display through September 16, 2017.
