Born in Barcelona, Spain and raised in the United States, Laura Crehuet Berman is a dual citizen of both Spain and the United States. Her work has been featured in over 125 exhibitions at galleries and museums including Aspen Art Museum (Colorado), Brinton Museum (Wyoming). Dalarnas Museum of Art (Sweden), Douro Museum of Art (Portugal) and China Academy of Arts Musuem (Hangzhou). Berman's prints are widely collected and her work can be found in the collections of Art Bank Collection/U.S. Department of State, Beach Museum of Art, Mulvane Art Museum, Nelson-Atkins Museum of Art and Spencer Museumf of Art, as well as many notable public art collections. Berman's work has been featured in the books Contemporary American Printmakers by E. Ashley Rooney/Stephanie Stanish, Printmaking at the Edge by Richard Noyce, A Survey of Contemporary Printmaking, by Ehlers, Ehlbeck and Muise and the upcoming Color Theory by Aaron Fine. Berman lives and works in Kansas City, teaching at Kansas City Art Institute where she has been a faculty member since 2002.
